Andy, "Smiley," has been clowning since 1984 when he did a Father's Day picnic at
his church. He is a member of Clowns of America International (COAI), World
Clown Association (WCA), Texas Clown Association (TCA) where he has served as
Area Director and Sergeant at Arms and Cowtown Clown Alley#135. He has been
awarded the prestigious Ceslee Conkling Award given by Cowtown Clowns along with
the coveted Al Armstrong Award presented by Mid-Cities Clowns. In 2003 he won
the TCA Ambassador of Clowning Award.
Andy has shared his love of clowning for many years through clown ministry,
training schools, conventions, local alleys and his own clown business. His
greatest skill lies in clown magic.
Rhea, "Sweet Pea," started clowning in 1993. She is also a member of COAI, WCA,
TCA, and Cowtown Clown Alley #135. Sweet Pea performs in magic shows with
Smiley and also enjoys face painting.
Rhea and Andy opened Kudos in 1994 to create a store that would enable clowns to
have all the supplies needed in one simple location. This eliminates the need
to travel from place to place to obtain clown supplies. If their shelves do not
hold that special item you are looking for they can order it for you.
